The exiled children came back to visit. A few grandparents went to the Cities for a special dinner. However the holiday is unchanged even though the people are changed. The farmers are in deep trouble because the price of a bushel of com is less than the price of a cup of coffee. Daryl Tolerude decided to give up farming and get a $9.00 an hour job at the mobile home factory. Marilyn has a job at the casino in Brainerd. He was farming his great grand father's 180 acres. He got a job for Marilyn as the book keeper at the casino. He is renting 120 acres to Roger Hedlund. Rosemary, Daryl's sister, and the grand parents came to the Tolerude family dinner. The men watched football and the women talked in the kitchen.
