'The News from Lake Wobegon'

Harold Star's lucky marble rolled out. The Knutes are catching eel pout for the fish-fry to finance the Shining Star scholarship. GK had no scholarship, personality, or leadership. He felt that he needed a better wardrobe. If he agitated top hard, his mother quoted scripture. His parents bought items from the Grace and Truth Scripture Warehouse. There was a scripture compass on the car dashboard that said, 'I am the way.' Once the whole family drove to St. Cloud to attend a bible meeting. They went to dinner at Phil's House of Good Food. It was a tony restaurant and the chicken dinner was $2.25. The waitress offered drinks to the parents on the Lord's Day. They were shocked and they left. Why can't we be like other people? Because other people aren't like other people.

The ceiling of the World Theater threatened to collapse. They moved to the Orpheum Theater at the last moment. Dorothy is on vacation and Cousin Flo will fill in.
