'The News from Lake Wobegon'

LW could do with fewer stories. To them, PHC is like the stories husbands tell about their wives over and over. At Radio Station WLT, the staff were got bored by GK's repetitive stories. GK was Jimmy the newsboy on 'Radio's Old Folks'. His lines never changed for two years. They lost their sponsor and decided to kill off Jimmy. During his death scene, the cleaning woman made a lot of noise. GK said, 'What are you doing here?' Then TV took over from radio. Now WLT is just a room full of tape machines. Describing the old live radio shows. GK's last show on WLT was 'The Best Thing in Life.' A rich and famous person arrives in Millville, spends a day with the dull townspeople and learns an important lesson. On the last program, the end came early and he had to drag out the last lines for two more minutes.
