'The News from Lake Wobegon'

Good weather for com also brings monster deer flies. Deer flies have taken over whole districts. There are 11 deer flies in the Minnesota legislature. It will be best ever season for corn unless a hail storm beats is to a pulp. Mary and Bob Tollefsen's son, Dwight, turned out too well and the family couldn't talk about him. Harold Starr had to tone down the press releases from Brown University. People would ask about their other two less successful children. If you have wonderful good fortune in LW, you don't talk abut it. LW believes in an older religion which says, "Anything you get, you're gonna pay for it."
