American songwriter par excellence John Prine sings "One Red Rose" and "The Great Compromise"; master of the diatonic harmonica Howard Levy tears through his arrangement of "Orange Blossom Special" and adds a little flair throughout the show; and Andra Suchy joins the host on a few duets from Mr. Prine's impressive catalog. I have listened to John Prine all my life so it was such an honor to sing his music in his presence. One thing that sticks with me is getting a kiss on the cheek and him thanking me for singing his songs. Incredible. The weather was beautiful and Garrison and I had a ball strolling through the crowd and singing, ending with everyone singing patriotic songs after show. It was quite an evening and I am so proud to have participated.
