GK on Facebook: "Flying out to Palm Springs to do a show Monday night after doing Prairie Home at Town Hall in New York Saturday night. It was hard work –– comedy doesn't come easy –– and the show was three hours long so I could hardly walk outside and catch a ride home, but people seemed to enjoy it. I liked doing the News from LW and also singing duets with Heather Masse and Christine DiGiallonardo. Sang "Why Worry" with Heather and I hit some high notes I didn't know I had. And I enjoyed watching the standup comic Erica Rhodes get big laughs while I sat nearby and said "Oh really" and "Interesting". It's crazy to be doing this at 80, but then nobody ever accused me of having common sense."
