"It was sweet going back to St. Paul and doing a show at the Swedenborgian church on Selby, just east of W.A. Frost and not far from some houses where I used to live. I had to leave town in 2018, it was unbearable to be in the same city as MPR, and I haven't looked back, but on a snowy night in December I suddenly missed St. Paul a lot. I thought of the Van Morrison song, "Going back to my own ones, back to talk to my own ones, for this world is so cold, don't care nothing for your soul you share with your own ones."
