'The News from Lake Wobegon'

It's spring and Easter weekend. Last Sunday was Palm Sunday. The seniors were ushers at LW Lutheran, including Pastor Ingqvist's daughter, Rachael. He got confused and forgot to introduce them. There was a heavy mist in town. Charlie Best came out of his house to go to school. He took a right tum instead of a left and disappeared in the fog. A man stepped out of the Anderson's garden and reported to Captain Best on the status of Gettysburg just before the battle. He walked into the slough and heard confederates. He saw a bed of white flowers and remembered school. You never reach conclusions in winter. GK decided to become a writer as a child in the spring. GK's sister hit him on the head with a skillet, causing his decision to be writer. It also gave him near-perfect pitch. Mrs. Myer's fat arms were named Bob and Hoppy. The Whippets had their first practice. They were full of hope. Dutch has moved the left field fence outward to include a hill. Dutch's nephew, the new pitcher, pitches side arm, He remembered that he had to pick marsh marigolds to decorate the church.
