'The News from Lake Wobegon'

There was a Blossoms of Spring show at Our Lady. Bonnie Bowser asked to keep the decorations for Florian and Myrtle K's 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Bob Bowser heard a pair of snipe and followed them so the mail was late. Bob is giving Bonnie a hard time. Bonnie took six weeks of organ lessons at the Vo Tech. She can now play in the key of C. She wanted to bring the organ up from the basement to the living room but the living room is full of junk. She asked her daughter why she bought all of the junk. Bernetta said that it went with the rest of the junk. She decided to throw out Bob's couch which has been there for 22 years. It's in horrible condition. Bob had given it a name, Sophie. He falls asleep instantly on it. Bonnie doesn't want to be married like Myrtle and Florian. She bought a new love seat and threw Sophie out. Bob would not talk to her. Finally, Bob went down to Minneapolis to visit his brother. She called Myrtle about the 50th anniversary party. It turns out that it may be her 49th anniversary
