Gary and Leroy gave a speeding ticket to a man in a green Lincoln Continental that was going 65 mph and did not even slow down. Everyone has been sick with the Swedish flu. The Bakkes came back from Florida, where they had a miserable time. They stayed with Jack'sister, Janet, in a mobile home. DJ smoked three packs a day, making Jeanette sick,so she over ate. They fought half the way back to Minnesota. They drove straight through in 23 hours and arrived on Sunday morning. On Sunday afternoon, a couple in their mid-50s came in to get married. They were from Grand Forks. Jack married them. Jeanette and Jack sat eating chicken chow mein. Leroy get headaches from sitting in the patrol car. Jeanette set off the metal detector in the airport. She believes that it was caused by shards of steel from the can opener getting their food. On Tuesday, the Lincoln came through. It threw a sheet of water on Jeanette. It took them six miles to catch the Lincoln. It was stopped by the side of the road with the motor off. The man was talking on a car telephone. The man was very apologetic for speeding through LW. The man drove back to town with Leroy. He was a doctor on his way to the University of Chicago Hospital. He had a secret drug that reversed the effect of aging. He tried to give them bottles of Bilostilone. Leroy offered to pay him $15.00 a bottle and he finally acccepted.
