'The News from Lake Wobegon'

Clarence and Irene Bunsen saw a Norwegian Nuthatch, whose song is, 'I tink so, I tink so, probably.' It winters in LW in barns and feeds on coffee grounds. Carl Krepsbach gave up cigarettes for Lent and he thinks about smoking all of the time. Father Emil says that thinking is the purpose of Lent. Pastor Ingqvist went to Milwaukee for a three-day Lutheran pastoral conference on ministerial software. One disc had thousands of sermon outlines. Pews were set up for bio-feed back. After just one morning, he had a big lunch and drove home. He paid a visit to Henry and Ella Anderson. Henry sometimes lives in a different time period but Ella is sharp as a tack. They can't get out in the winter so David tells her about his sermon. It's like judgment day for David. GK came home from first-year college and Senator K. Thorvaldson asked what he had learned. As he walked home, Pastor Ingqvist asked himself, 'Am I doing any good?' Somewhere in LW, a Norwegian nuthatch sang, 'I tink so.'
