'The News from Lake Wobegon'

Dark grim week with rain and snow. Pastor Inkvuist didn't have the heart to deliver his sermon on vanity. Instead he gave a sermon on hope. The roof over Clarence Bunsen's desk failed again dumping water all over the account books. The coffee at the Chatterbox tasted bad. Mr. Deaner walked out his back door to find that a dog had spread garbage all over. He complained about the yard being a mess in addition to the house. It was a quiet ride to mass. He thought it was Carl K's dog. Carl greeted him at church and Mr. Deaner said, "Your dog got in my garbage." Everybody seemed to be out to get him. Some good news. The garden seeds from Winner Seeds came this week. Dealing the colorful seed packages out on the kitchen table. If you meditate on one mustard seed, you will expand and feel vast
