People are complaining about the warm March weather. the temperature is in the 50s. Ice fishing has been poor. Attendance was good at Uncle Virgil's funeral. He left LW 50 years ago. No one knew that he was still alive. His daughter Lou-Ann called Clarence Bunsen and asked him to arrange the funeral. She had a trip to Hawaii planned. Clarence picked up the body and made all of the arrangements. Ice fishing was in full swing until Thursday afternoon. Carl Krebsbach was driving out to his ice house when he noticed that the truck was a bit low in front. He got out and noticed that it was sinking. Clarence Bunsen stopped when he noticed. Carl got a cable around the back axle and Clarence's 4 x 4 winched it out. The other trucks drove off the ice the other way very slowly. By Friday, all of the ice houses were off the lake.
Warm weather makes us uneasy. Howard Mohr says that cats should be kept outdoors. The Prairie Home Repertory Company goes on a bus tour. Nobody can agree on the rules for poker games.
