The garden behind the convent is a sanctuary. The Linotype at the LW Herald Star broke down. The "xs" and the "zs" went out. Everything seemed to be spelled with these letters. Harold Star worked on it for three days and the paper was late. Harold went down to the Sidetrack to complain. LW taxes are going to be raised. The Council suggested that Bud take three months off. Bud suggested mid-winter. The LW volunteer fire department and the the police service are hard to cut. Gary and Leroy are always looking for real work and create all kinds of problems. The parts for the Linotype finally arrived.
