'The News from Lake Wobegon'

It's been a warm week, which lowers your intelligence. We don't believe that you can chose things to really make you happy. The best that you get is not that bad. 15-year old GK fell when making a running diving somersault over a vaulting horse in gym class. That was bad. Carl Krepsbach got married and his father-in-law woke him up at 4:00 am to help chop com. That was bad. GK learned by watching his older brother to behave so that people would not get mad at you. Recalling a Sunday dinner with guests and the kids had food fights. His mother denigrated every dish to cut off compliments. Throwing food and playing jokes on brothers and sisters. His sister hit GK with a butte pat. He put a raw chicken liver in his sister's roll. She bolted it down. She said he would sorry some day.
