"Drove down to Worthington w Prudence and Dan and did a show for about 450 last night, the most elderly crowd I can remember, but once they got in they were a fabulous audience, laughed their pants off and sang "America" and "It Is Well With My Soul" and "Going To The Chapel" like angels and afterward a 94-year-old Dorothy told me I need a haircut. Comfort Inn serves the worse complimentary breakfast in the Judeo-Christian world but I was so glad I went. There is nothing like a joyful crowd to make an old man feel young again. Actually, I felt better than when I was young. I was gloomy back then. I just remembered." -GK
